How do Parcel Notifications work with split consignments?

How do Parcel Notifications work with split consignments?

For multi-part consignments, the Out for delivery and Delivery notifications are triggered by scanning any part of the consignment.

We have a 24-hour wait rule in place for consignments that receive more than one onboard or delivery scan.

For example:

If Part 1 and 2 are scanned onboard with the delivery driver in the morning and Part 3 is scanned later that afternoon, because the second 'onboard' scan happens within 24 hours of the first, there will be only one out for delivery and one delivery notification sent for that consignment.

If Part 1 and 2 are scanned as onboard with the delivery driver in the morning and Part 3 is scanned the next morning, two onboard and delivery text notifications will be sent out for that consignment. One out for delivery and delivery text for Part 1/2 on the first day and another onboard and delivery text for part 3 the next day.
